2008 Citroen C4 Sedan

Citroen is expanding the highly successful C4 range with the new Citroen C4 Sedan which will be available on selected European markets in the 4th quarter of 2007. The new model, thanks to it's extended wheelbase, offers more space for passengers in the back as well as a decent size boot.

Citroen C4 Sedan combines the sophisticated styling of the C4 range with the elegance of a four door saloon while still putting the emphasis on passenger comfort. Being 4.77m long and 1.77m wide the car offers plenty of room for passengers in the front as well as those sitting in the back making even long journeys a pleasant experience. Traditionally for Citroen the suspension set up is very comfortable and provides good ride quality even on bumpy roads.

The interior design is typical to the C4 range with the trademark fixed-hub steering wheel with integrated controls giving it a modern feel. The seats are comfortable and can be easily adjusted to fit driver's preference. Keeping the interior functional and ergonomic the Citroen C4 Sedan offers many useful storage compartments.

The car is offered with two engines - one petrol and one diesel - both compatible with the Euro IV standard and fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.6i 16V petrol engine develops 110 hp and 147 Nm at 4.000 rpm where 90% of torque is available at as low as 2,000 rpm. The 1560 cm3 diesel engine offers 110 hp and 240 Nm of torque at 1750 rpm with additional 20Nm available thanks to an "overboost" function.

Cruise control comes as standard and allows automatic speed maintaining as well as the ability to limit the maximum speed of the car. Xeon lights, parking assist and automatic wipers are available in some equipment trims.

Citroen C4 Sedan offers all the safety features present in the C4 range ranked 5 stars by EuroNCAP. Thanks to the car's fixed-hub steering wheel the car offers innovative "shaped" driver airbag. Front driver and passenger airbags come as standard. Side curtains airbags are standard in selected countries.
